Black Bird Image Optimizer is a commercial multimedia tool that helps you optimize the size of your images. This image optimizer works with JPG and PNG files and can reduce the size of your photos without visible quality loss. It comes with a straightforward GUI, allowing you to optimize your pictures in easy steps. You only need to click the Upload File button and choose a target file. The file will be subsequently displayed in the Before Window, and in a few seconds, a reduced version will appear in the Optimized Window. Black Bird Image Optimizer also lets you apply some effects, including blur, contrasts, and brightness, to your optimized image for further enhancement. The app claims to have a lossless optimization. However, it uses color quantization, which reduces the number of colors in an image. So, while it maintains the image’s overall visual construction, and the resulting image looks very similar to the original, it does not produce lossless image compression.
